Our Genesis: Rubber Duckie Designs was founded by a couple of engineers who had a penchant for envisioning better ways of doing things.  Our extracurricular activities would lead us to identify a need.  We would then apply our overdeveloped brains to finding a solution for that need.  We would dream it up, draw it up, and then make it.  Have you ever told yourself that there had to be a better way of doing something, something was too cumbersome, or just didn't work well enough?   It turns out that we're not the only ones who can use our solutions.

Our Mission:

"To build a better mousetrap."  We develop cost-effective material solutions for describable needs.  Tell us your problem and how the solution will be employed; we may be able to help you.

Our Mantra:

"Keep it Simple."  In our experience, very elaborate systems are costly, break frequently, and are difficult to operate.  We take the difficult and make it simple through good design and rigorous testing.  Our solutions are durable, reliable, and low maintenance.

Our Passion:

Water has provided much of our inspiration.  For the last decade, we have lived, worked, and played, on, near, in, and under the ocean.  The ocean provides an excellent proving ground for our concepts.  Only durable and well thought out designs will survive the pounding waves and corrosive nature of the marine environment.  We named our company after the most playful, durable and water-proof thing we could think of - A Rubber Duckie.
